    Western style gardens in modern Japan definitely and directly shows the influence of Western modernization. Why did the gardens westernize in the Meiji period? How was the Western modernization process achieved? What was the composition of those gardens? In this presentation, I tried to solve the questions with regards to the western style gardens and the dynamic changes.
