The 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake caused extensive damage not only to social infrastructure such as electricity, water, and roads, but also to green infrastructure (GI) such as forests and slopes of roads. The medium- to long-term restoration of GI is an important issue for the reconstruction of this region. This report summarizes: 1) the current status of damage to GI, mainly in areas where mountain sides have collapsed; 2) existing technologies and research in the field of revegetation technology that are useful for restoring GI that will support reconstruction; and 3) considerations for restoring GI in accordance with the Ishikawa Creative Reconstruction Plan. In particular, for the third point, in response to [Initiative 2: Noto Satellite Campus Concept] and [Initiative 11: Redesign of Noto Peninsula National Park], we propose the incorporation of the undamaged and restored ate forest into the expanded area of the national park, and biodiversity-conscious greening, and for [Initiative 4: Infrastructure Resilience from a New Perspective], we propose the greening of collapsed slope and road slope by maximizing natural capacity, effective use of woody waste, point cloud revegetation in collapsed areas in the backcountry, use of disturbance legacy within the national park, and the restoration of the forest in the backcountry, and in response to [Initiative 10: Conversion of Earthquake Disaster Remains into Local Resources], we propose the development of a satoyama-satoumi geopark in the Okunoto region
