Profile |
Professor Ohe has been perusing the topics of rural tourism to explore the new roles of agriculture and rural areas by focusing on rural tourism. He has been conducting theoretical and empirical investigation on rural tourism with econometric methodology under the microeconomic framework. He also served or currently serves as President of the Japan Society for Interdisciplinary Tourism Studies (2019-2023), Japan Academic Society of Tourism (2023-), a Board member of Asia Pacific Tourism Association and (2018-2023), and an Editorial Board member of Tourism Economics (2014-). |
