    減圧条件下でトマト果実を貯蔵することによって、エチレン生成、軟化を抑制でき、鮮度保持期間を延長できることを明らかにした。また果実品質においては常圧と比較して差が見られないことも明らかにした。

    高温条件下で緑熟期のトマト果実の貯蔵において相対湿度との関連性について調査を行った。その結果80-90%RHで貯蔵した区は果実重の減少が抑えられ、長期間の保蔵が可能であることを明らかにした。

    トウガラシの種子プライミング処理が発芽と乾燥条件下における生理的反応に及ぼす影響について調査した。その結果-1.2MPa、-1.6MPaの種子プライミングレベルのポリエチレングリコール処理をしたものは、乾燥条件下においても気孔コンダクタンス、光合成活性を維持することができることを明らかにした。
