This study improved the value of hedgerows in the
catchment. The hedgerows distributed most in Non-irrigated arable LAND on the ridge, hedgerows play important roles in mitigating soil erosion by wind.
This study proposed visualized hedgerows planning method in based on simulating wind dynamics in the field scale and the landscape scale by Aerial sensing and GIS. This visualized planning method can collaborate and help decision make with several stakeholders, policy maker, landowner, farmer, resident. And, it be able to propose hedgerows planting plan with regional landscape character. -

This study aims to demonstrate how simulated thermal and wind dynamics can be integrated into green infrastructure planning. Remote sensing and three dimensional GIS and CFD simulations were employed to investigate the effects of green space and wind flows on urban cooling a case study of Tokyo urban green space, especially Yoyogi Park and the Meiji Jingu Shrine.

This study's hypothesis is that large heat islands can be fragmented through the use of open space, which allow flows of cool air to reduce night-time temperatures. Using data from Landsat8, a four step method, comprising data collection, data analysis, decision making and final planning, is proposed to enable planning for mitigation of urban heat island effects. (1) Land cover and existing daily surface air temperature maps were generated from the Landsat8 data and summer observatory data from the Meteorological Agency. (2) Surface temperature and air temperature (at 0500 hours) maps were derived using a formula incorporating the ratio of green space within different spatial scales within the survey areas. (3) Predictive maps of surface temperature and air temperature (at 0500 hours) were generated using three alternative green space plans (focused along riversides, streets and in school grounds, respectively), using the same formula. (4) This scenario appraisal approach can contribute to new green infrastructure planning to mitigate the increasingly important issue of urban heat island impacts and night-time temperatures.

本研究は、熱環境および風環境からみた環境計画手法の確立を目指し、大学キャンパスをケーススタディとして、リモートセンシングによる熱環境のシミュレーション、並びに3次元GIS及びCFDによる風のシミュレーションを行うことで風の道を可視化し、熱環境および風環境の面から緑地環境を評価するとともに、大学キャンパスの環境評価と環境計画への応用を試みた。その結果、熱環境および風環境解析に基づく新たな環境計画案を評価できることを実証した。

本調査は、東京農業大学戦略研究プロジェクト『伝統的農地管理による生物多様性ならびに国土保全の評価と持続的地域防災マネジメントの構築』の調査課題の１つである。調査は熊本地域の災害履歴（地震、水・土砂災害等）と自然環境条件（地形、地質、土壌、水系（地下水・河川）、植生、降水量等）および土地利用の経年変化を調査した。リモートセンシング及び地理空間情報システム（GIS）による解析、古地図や町史等の文献調査や伝承文化のヒアリング調査と、自然災害の被災痕跡の調査を実施し、自然条件に適応した伝統的農地管理による農地の環境的価値、防災・減災的価値を探った。

鮫川村葉貫集落の農家を事例とした里山の農林業の営みの定量化に関する調査研究

近年、農業就業者の高齢化や後継者不足により、耕作放棄地が増え里山景観の荒廃が引き起こされている。農業の営みを持続させることが里山景観の保全となると考えられるが、これまで里山農業の営みをシステムとして捉え、各種農作業を定量的に把握した研究はあまり事例がない。そこで、鮫川村の葉貫集落で農業を営む農家を対象として、里山における農業の営みを定量化することを目的とし考察を行った。その結果、鮫川村の里山では主に畜産業を中心とした営みにより里山自然を利用することで、循環型サイクルができることが詳細に知ることができた。

環状八号線の中央分離帯の形状とゴミ散乱状況に関する調査研究

砧公園に隣接する環状八号線の中央分離帯では道路美化、大気や騒音などの環境改善等に寄与するにもかかわらずゴミ捨て場と化している。そこで本研究では、ゴミが捨てられにくくなるような植栽帯があるのではないだろうかと仮説し、世田谷区内の環状八号線の植栽帯のある中央分離帯のゴミの現状を明らかにし、中央分離帯の形状の違いによる考察を行った。その結果、信号機の付近で渋滞が起こりやすい分離帯では著しくゴミが散乱しやすいと傾向が見られ、分離帯の形状として高木下部に生垣や低木が植栽され下枝や葉で地面が覆われている分離帯ではゴミが多いことから、植栽形状として下枝を透かし風通しのよい分離帯植栽がゴミも目立ちやすく掃除もしやすいので、望ましいのではないかと思われる。

鮫川村の舘山公園における参加協働型の公園再生計画および整備プロセス

全国の中山間地域の約６割は過疎地域であるという現状と同様に、鮫川村でも耕作放棄地や荒れた山林が増え、里山景観が荒廃するという環境問題が加速している。本研究では、鮫川村の舘山跡地の放棄された山林が住民、役場、都市住民がどのように参加協働して公園として再生させているのか、そのプロセスを明らかにすることを目的とした。その結果、舘山公園の再生は役場が2005(平成17)年の第3次鮫川村振興計画において舘山公園の再整備を位置づけたことに始まり、大学と参加協働して県の森林環境税交付金事業にトライし補助されることとなったこと、役場の呼びかけで2007(平成19)年2月のボランティア活動では130人の住民、小中学生、都市住民、役場職員が参加して整備作業を行ったこと、など地元の住民のみならず、都市住民も参加しており、地域の枠を超えた取り組みに発展していることがわかった。
