本実験では高い施工性を有するGIF-TのCO₂固定能力を明らかにすることを目的とし、基礎的な実験によって試算した結果、80日間の実験期間でGIF-Tは一枚あたり、2.8～4.1gの炭素を体内に作り出し、それらの数値から算出されたCO₂固定量は10.5～15.1gとなった。さらに、CO₂固定量の増大は温湿度条件が与える影響よりも、実験期間に大きく左右されることも明らかとなった。pp.1-5
